Courses
Bachelors from Another Field to MSN
Northeastern University’s direct entry nursing program allows you to use the degree and experience that you already have in nearly any field and leverage it into a master’s degree in child and adolescent mental health. Nursing-specific classes (including clinical practicum) position you to sit for the national licensing exam (NCLEX), after which you become a registered nurse and practice in the field full-time for six to nine months. You continue in the graduate program in nursing in the child and adolescent psychiatric specialty which leads to national credentialing as a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) or Nurse Practitioner (NP).
