Online Course: Child & Adolescent Psychopharmacology
This course will provide a comprehensive overview of major classes of psychotropic medications for pediatric populations. The course will relate psychiatric disorders associated with medication prescription, differential diagnosis and drug interactions, safe monitoring with attention to side effects, and integration of medication management into a treatment regimen for various patient populations. Clinical cases will be used to illustrate complex issues related to prescribing psychiatric medications for children. Summer 1 schedule begins May 2010. Info: tba in January, 2010.
